A first for us.

First thing's first! We picked what would be one of the coldest weekends in this unseasonably warm Winter to take our engagement photos. Armed with our loves, Tex & Zoey, our amazing photographer Briana Wollman and our photo assistant/dog wrangler/blanket hauling maid of honor, Kristine, we set out to the site of our first date. It's a beautiful park, but it was bone-chilling cold. We are fortunate to have some really beautiful shots in spite of how cold we were that morning. The next day, we shot in the space across the street from where we'll be married in April. The cool look of the industrial space against the warmth of the photos from the park are a perfect balance, not to mention tell our story of where we started and where this journey has taken us beautifully.
